New Year Rock Party 2019

Lunedì 31 Dicembre vi aspettiamo al FABRIK per un Capodanno ad alto tasso di Rock’n’Roll!

Covo Art Cafè, Zalu’s Club, Fabrik e Bodie Art hanno unito le loro forze per presentarvi il Capodanno Rock che aspettavate da tempo e che da troppo tempo mancava a Cagliari. Noi non potevamo non rispondere alla chiamata! Insieme a noi, prima e dopo il nostro concerto, ROCKOTECA con i DJs Palitrottu e Nostal Chic.

Un Capodanno all’insegna del rock, con una delle migliori band del panorama sardo e due dj capaci di far ballare e divertire, il tutto al centro di Cagliari in un locale perfettamente attrezzato. Questo è l’obiettivo che si sono preposti il Covo Art Cafe, il Fabrik, lo Zalu’s Club e il Bodie Art, 4 club cagliaritani dove il rock è di casa tutto l’anno. I 4 club uniscono le loro forze e organizzano una serata che vedrà sul palco i King Howl, band sarda di heavy blues che da anni gira l’Europa e fa ballare le masse con il suo scatenato e originale mix di blues tradizionale e di heavy rock. A seguire, ci saranno i dj Palitrottu (Maurizio Pretta) e Nostal Chic (Carla Dessì) per una panoramica di rock & roll a tutto volume per festeggiare l’arrivo del 2019.

Live at Corto Maltese | 14.09.2018

We are finally ready to come back home.

We will be playing in Cagliari after almost three years, and we’ll celebrate it with a special concert of the original band’s line up, the one that released “King Howl Quartet” and singles like “Morning” and “Drunk”, the one with Dam Fanti on drums.

Finalmente, torniamo a casa.

A distanza di oltre due anni dall’ultimo concerto in città, e dopo la pubblicazione dell’ultimo disco “Rougarou”, i KING HOWL tornano dal vivo a Cagliari, sul palco del Corto Maltese Poetto, per quello che sarà un concerto speciale.

Sul palco infatti ci sarà la formazione originale della band, quella che ha dato alle stampe il primo full lenght “King Howl Quartet” (2012), con Dam Fanti alla batteria. Un live da non perdere. Prima e dopo il concerto: Una Festa Tranquilla

EUROPEAN TOUR – MARCH 2018

Talk About Records is proud to present the new KING HOWL EUROPEAN TOUR, scheduled from March 15th till March 24th in different cities of Germany, Belgium, Netherlands and the Czech Republic. After the release of the acclaimed third album “Rougarou” in the summer of 2017, the heavy blues combo from Sardinia is now ready for its fourth European Tour, that will be comprised of nine club shows plus a special radio appearance for the Berlin’s Radio Alex.Four countries, ten days, ten shows.

ROUGAROU – THE NEW ALBUM

“Rougarou” is our third album. It is composed by 9 unreleased songs plus our version of Canned Heat’s classic “On the Road Again”. “Rougarou” explores the thematic of the change, of the transformation, no matter If this is linked to the growing up of a kid, the romance of traveling, a nervous breakdown, or the mutation in a werewolf.

“Rougarou” has been recorded in Sardinia and mixed in Ferrara, Italy, by Gabriele Boi. The artwork of “Rougarou” is made by Elena Cabitza.

“Rougarou” is released on July 7th, 2017 by the two Sardinian labels Talk About Records and Electric Valley Records and sponsored by the Streetwear brand REESON. The album will be available in three different formats: digipack cd, digital (Spotify, iTunes, Deezer, Amazon etc.) and an exclusive 12’’ Vinyl edition, printed in two colors, that will be distributed internationally by Clear Spot.

NEW ALBUM RECORDING SESSIONS

Last August we went to Sonusville Recording Studio, in Siliqua, Sardinia, to record our next full length with Gabriele Boi (who has already recorded our previous Truck Stop EP). As well as his work behind the mixer, Gabri is a good photographer too, so here are some snapshots of our good, sweaty days of summer locked down in the studio.

Recordings went really good, and now there’s the mix. The album will be out in 2017.

KING HOWL ON BALCONY TV

Chiudiamo il cerchio di “Truck Stop Ep” suonando live “Old Friend Blues” in una sessione di Balcony TV Sassari. Il miglior modo per dirvi che, con una formazione rinnovata, stiamo lavorando a tanti nuovi progetti: dopo qualche concerto di fine 2015, un nuovo disco ed un nuovo tour europeo arriveranno nella primavera 2016.

Di nuovo sulla strada. Con piacere annunciamo una piccola serie di concerti estivi in Svizzera e Nord Italia. Saremo sul palco di 4 diversi festival, in Emilia, Lombardia, Friuli e Ticino. Ad Agosto invece pubblicheremo un nuovo videoclip, Un video on the road di “Kerouac” girato nel corso dell’ultimo tour italiano e dell’ultimo tour Europeo.

Back on the road. We are proud to announce a summer concert series in Switzerland and North Italy. We will play at 4 great festivals in Emilia, Lombardia, Friuli, Ticino. In august we will release a new “Kerouac” on the road video, filmed during our last italian and European Tour in Italy, Swiss, France, Germany, Belgium.

After 11 gigs around Italy, we are ready to start our second Central Europe Tour: 11 gigs from Italy to Swiss, Germany, Belgium, France. From great live Clubs to international festivals On the road between may 1th and June 6th.

Siamo Lieti di annunciare il nuovo tour europeo dei King Howl.
